University Baptist Church and the CrossImpact Campus Ministries are pleased to announce English classes for International students and their families.
Fall classes will be held at University Baptist Church from September through December. Spring classes will be held at University Baptist Church from January through April. See the Church Calendar for the exact dates and times. Students are welcome to begin attending at any time during each Semester.
Classes Available this Year
- Basic English: This class will help students build vocabulary and learn to use their new words correctly and creatively. This class will also include writing activities to improve their writing skills and have success in taking standardized tests.
- Intermediate English: This class will instruct through the study of Literature. This class will provide practice for each student with writing, reading and speaking.
- TOEFL Preparation: This class is geared to help those who are preparing to take the TOEFL examination to enter university or any technical schools in our area.
- Bible Study English: This class will use the Bible and a special textbook entitled A Thirst for Wholeness to study the New Testament book of James.
Schedule of Classes
All classes will meet from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM on Wednesday mornings.
Location of Classes
All classes will meet in the Educational Building at University Baptist Church. Refer to the map for directions.

- All classes are free. For mothers with children a nursery will be provided.
